As you can tell, the site has been inactive for the past few months. There hasn’t really been much to update on, but I’m going to try to change that. I want to try to include more flashbacks for the site, and add a few more things to the site as well. And yes, a video archive is something we’re planning on adding! We’re also planning on getting a new layout soon for the site, as this one has been up for a while now. We are also going to try to do something at the site involving Shantelle herself! Stay tuned!

Just wanted to take a moment to wish Shantelle a very happy birthday! We hope you had an amazing day, and got everything you wanted. Former TNA Knockouts Champion, Shantelle Taylor aka Taylor Wilde, will step into the ring for the final time for ChickFight and Pro Wrestling Revolution on February 5th in San Francisco. In a special ChickFight match presented by Diva-Dirt.com, the #1 women’s wrestling website, Shantelle will face off against Diva Dirt’s fan-voted Independent Wrestler of the Year, ‘The Future Legend’ Alissa Flash The extremely talented Taylor has decided to retire from the professional wrestling industry following her departure from TNA Wrestling last year. Competing around the world for TNA as Taylor Wilde, Shantelle became one of the most decorated females in the company, winning the Knockouts Championship on one occasion and the Knockouts Tag Team Championships on two occasions.

Now ready to hang up her boots, she hopes to leave her mark on the industry by defeating fellow former TNA Knockout and one of the finest female wrestlers in North America, Flash.

Will Shantelle ride off into the sunset with one last victory, or will the Future Legend end her career with a loss? One thing that is guaranteed is that both females will be giving it their all in Shantelle’s last match.

In her first interview since leaving TNA, Taylor took part in an interview with The Sun, and announced her retirement from professional wrestling all together. In a short excerpt from the interview, Taylor says:

“I’m not just leaving TNA, I’m retiring from wrestling and going back to school.

“I have nothing but good things to say about TNA. If it wasn’t for my experiences there I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

“But the way things were going, I just felt I needed a change. With the state of the company and the way they were using me, there wasn’t a lot for me to keep me going either.

“I’ve done a lot of the things I wanted to do, and there aren’t many opportunities left for me.”

We totally understand Taylor’s point of view and her decision to leave the world of professional wrestling. We here at TaylorWilde.org wish her nothing but the best of luck in all her future endeavors, and we will always still be here supporting her in everything she does. And yes, our site will always remain open for support.

Rumors have been floating around the web these past few weeks, but it looks like TNA may have now just confirmed the rumors. Taylor’s profile has been removed from the Roster page, and her Knockout gallery has been taken off TNA’s official website. This is TNA’s way of acknowledging a talent has been let go. Hopefully Taylor can confirm this piece of news soon, and comment on it.

UPDATE: Taylor has confirmed she has left TNA. When asked by a fan if she was still with TNA, Taylor replied with the following:

I comically announced that I quit TNA earlier via a youtube video, but for those unsure I have officially left. More details to come! xo

We hope to get an official statement from Taylor herself soon, so keep checking back with us!

According to ongoing TNA tapings, a Knockouts Tag Tournament has been set up, and the Tag Titles have been stripped of Taylor and Hamada. Keep in mind, that this is a rumor for now as there are several conflicting stories. Sites are reporting the tournament was set up to determine #1 Contenders, while other sites report the tournament was set up for the vacant titles. The same stint was pulled back in March of this year when Awesome Kong left TNA, and TNA stripped the Tag Titles from Kong, and coincidentally Hamada, and a tournament was set up for the vacant titles. Again, this is just a rumor for now.

UPDATE: PWInsider is reporting that Hamada has indeed been released.

Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde vs Sarita

In the Xplosion main event, Sarita defeated Taylor Wilde after rolling through Taylor’s cross body off the top rope and holding onto the tights.

Winner: Sarita

Jay Lethal & Taylor Wilde vs The Shore

Robbie and Cookie are out on the floor running from Lethal and Wilde, and Robbie sucker punches Lethal and tosses him back in the ring. Lethal quickly turns it around and fires back with some stiff chops to Robbie, but Cookie drags Robbie out to the floor and relative safety. The Shore stalls for more time out on the floor until Cookie orders Robbie back into the ring. Robbie hesitates, so Lethal just hip tosses him back in the ring and chops him again, and Robbie scurries to the corner and the loving embrace of Cookie. Lethal tags in Taylor Wilde, so Robbie tags Cookie in, and she literally runs away from Taylor and tags Robbie in. Robbie menaces Taylor, but doesn’t notice Lethal climbing the ropes until he hits him with a flying bodypress for 2. Cookie comes in and grabs Lethal’s ankle, and that allows Robbie to nail Lethal from behind, but Lethal barely registers before taking Robbie over with an armdrag and then bars the arm. Cookie distracts Lethal and Taylor goes after Cookie, but as the ref takes what felt like ten minutes to escort Taylor out of the ring, Robbie takes nine and a half of those minutes to finally decide to pull Lethal’s hair. The referee, still with his back turned, completely misses both Robbie and Cookie putting the boots to Lethal. Cookie holds Lethal and Robbie charges, Lethal moves and Robbie nearly hits Cookie, but stops short and turns around right into the Lethal Combination. Cookie jumps on Lethal’s back and Lethal no-sells, so Cookie tries a kick to the gut and Lethal catches the boot and signals for Taylor to come in. Cookie slips out of her boot and runs out to the floor and Taylor chases her around ringside, and while the ref is busy watching them, Robbie takes Cookie’s boot and knocks Lethal out with it for the win.

Winners: The Shore
